As a metal fabricator apprentice, you will play a piviotal role in ensuring military aircraft are maintained and are airworthy. You will gain practical skills to manufacture, repair and modify aircraft sheet and metal components using machines such as guillotines, bending and folding machines.

Level 3 Rail Engineering Technician Apprenticeship - Network Rail, Havant

You will work alongside experienced engineers in depots across the UK and and as part of the team, you'll specialise in a pathway relevant to the depot you're based at. The pathways are Track, Signalling, Telecommunications, Overhead Lines, Locking Fitter, and Distribution and Plant. You will get hands-on and repair the tracks, working with high voltage systems, heights and specialist tools, repairing major signalling failures, supporting their telecommunications systems, or keeping the power flowing safely and efficiently.

Network Rail runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year which means that it is likely you will follow a shift pattern that will mean working nights and/or weekends and there will be times where you need to stay away from home for training. £21,477 a year.

This role offers hands-on kitchen experience within a fast-paced fresh food environment, supporting professional chef development while working towards a recognised qualification. Survival Equipment Technician - Survival Equipment Fitter Apprenticeship - Royal Navy, PO2 

You will need to maintain vital lifesaving equipment to enable aircrew to operate safely. This equipment will help them to survive on land, sea or in the air in peacetime or on military operations. You will also learn how to assist in the training of aircrew on land and sea in survival techniques. You'll look after the crew's protective gear such as their immersion suits, flying helmets, oxygen masks, parachutes and emergency breathing equipment.

During your apprenticeship you will be taking responsibility for the general healthcare of an entire crew. This could include patient assessment and coordination of care, infection prevention and control, and supporting specialist senior healthcare support workers in their duties. You will use your medical expertise where it's needed most, providing primary healthcare to trauma victims in conflict zones all over the world.
