Electrician - Royal Air Force
You will be in charge of keeping the RAF fully powered. You'll be essential in ensuring RAF aircraft are able to take off and complete their missions safely by maintaining and repairing the wide range of ground-based electric equipment used on RAF bases and whilst doing this you will become a world-class electrician. You will need to maintain state-of-the-art equipment, from hydraulic rigs, to medical and dental equipment. You could be providing air traffic control service at an airfield, working alongside civilian air traffic controllers at the UK's Air Traffic Control Centre in Swanwick or as a Weapons Controller directing fast jet aircraft to intercept potentially hostile aircraft. Driver - Royal Air Force
As a driver you will be required to drive and operate a wide range of general and specialist vehicles, from Passenger Carrying Vehicles (which include cars, minibuses and coaches), to both rigid and articulated Large Goods Vehicles (LGV). Level 3 Rail Engineering Technician Apprenticeship - Network Rail, Havant
You will work alongside experienced engineers in depots across the UK and and as part of the team, you'll specialise in a pathway relevant to the depot you're based at. The pathways are Track, Signalling, Telecommunications, Overhead Lines, Locking Fitter, and Distribution and Plant. You will get hands-on and repair the tracks, working with high voltage systems, heights and specialist tools, repairing major signalling failures, supporting their telecommunications systems, or keeping the power flowing safely and efficiently.
Network Rail runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year which means that it is likely you will follow a shift pattern that will mean working nights and/or weekends and there will be times where you need to stay away from home for training. £21,477 a year.

You will be working outside on the Refinery maintaining equipment by shadowing experience technicians, learning skills to identify how equipment works and learning how to repair and maintain equipment.
