During your apprenticeship you will act as front of house for the office and help create a welcoming, professional environment. Your role will include but is not limited to:

• Welcoming clients, visitors and partners and make sure they are directed to the right person

• Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and respond to basic enquiries

• Make outbound calls to clients to confirm appointments, provide updates or follow up agreed actions

Sitting within the Housing, Neighbourhoods and Building Services directorate, you will be directly reporting to the Asbestos Manager and supporting them and the Compliance Manager by:

• Arranging and providing admin support in meetings including the production of agendas, meeting minutes, risk registers and management of action logs

• Uploading and monitoring information on IT systems

• Supporting with the organising, productin and printing of asbestos management plans

Business operational hours are 8am to 6pm with core hours between 9:30am-12pm and 2pm-4pm, but there will need to be flexibility to reflect the fact that most services are provided 24 hours, 365 days of the year. £25,948 a year.
