Bay House School and Sixth Form - Tuesday 17 March 2026
We need your help ...
You need our future talent ...
Let’s work together to spark some curiosity, engage in conversation and inspire the next generation to find their future!
For many young people, the only careers they are aware of are roles in the local community (police, teachers, the military) or jobs their family may have.
We need to change this and broaden horizons so every young person can feel inspired about their future and make informed decisions about their next steps.
Maritime and Transport are key industries in our region, but we are also facing skills shortages in Advanced Manufacturing, Construction, Engineering, Health and Social Care. More traditional roles are competing for talent against emerging industries such as Creative and Digital Technology, and young people are becoming more interested in Green careers as they consider the future of our planet.
We need employers and reps to champion their industry, spark some interest and inspire our students - after all, they are our future.
Find Your Future - Careers Discovery Event
Our Careers event will take place on 17 March 2026. It will enable over 2,000 young people to meet employers from a range of industries and learn about opportunities, apprenticeships and the skills and attributes you look for in your future workforce.
Students will be primed with questions and are looking forward to engaging with you.
We invite large and small employers, industry reps, charities, public services, armed forces, training and education providers to join us for the day - bring displays and banners, hands-on activities, literature, apprentices and freebies if you wish.
Please see below for details and to book a space.
