Together, we can spark curiosity, broaden horizons and inspire young people to discover the exciting opportunities available to them.

For many young people, the careers they are most familiar with are those they see every day, such as teaching, policing or the Armed Forces, or the jobs of family members and friends. By connecting them with employers from a wide range of industries, we can help them make informed decisions about their future and open their eyes to opportunities they may never have considered.

The Solent region is home to a diverse range of industries. Alongside established sectors such as Maritime and Transport, there is increasing demand for skilled professionals in Advanced Manufacturing, Construction, Engineering, Health and Social Care. 

By sharing your knowledge, experiences and enthusiasm, you can help students understand the skills, qualifications and pathways into your industry, while inspiring the next generation of talent.

Find Your Future - Careers Discovery Event

Our Find Your Future event will take place on Wednesday 2 December 2026 and will welcome over 2,000 secondary and sixth form students throughout the day. The event will give pupils the opportunity to meet employers and industry professionals, explore different career pathways and apprenticeship opportunities and discover the skills and qualities employers value.

Prior to the event, pupils will be encouraged to research exhibitors and prepare questions, ensuring they make the most of this valuable experience. 

We welcome organisations of all sizes, including employers, industry representatives, apprenticeship providers, colleges and universities, training providers, charities, public services and the Armed Forces.

Interactive displays, demonstrations and hands-on activities are particularly popular with students, but you're equally welcome to bring banners, promotional materials, giveaways and members of your team to talk about their career journeys and experience.

8.45am-4:15pm (set up from 8am onwards) - parents and carers are invited to attend between 3:15pm and 4:15pm
